Corporate Social Responsibility - An Integral Part of Comtal Group's DNA
In 2024, Comtal Group continued to combine business excellence with a commitment to sustainability, community involvement, and responsible management. Throughout the year, the group advanced various initiatives under ESG principles, with a holistic approach recognizing the group’s companies as engines of change and positive impact.
Highlights of our activities this past year:
- Investment in Human Capital — As part of our ongoing employee development policy, we held an advanced strategic sales workshop based on the Miller Heiman model, led by Nitzan Kafif, CEO of Picotech, part of Comtal Group.
- Social Involvement and Technological Education — In collaboration with Unistream, engineers from Conlog mentored a youth entrepreneurship group from Ashkelon that developed a project in the field of motion and mechanics — a direct investment in the next generation and equal opportunities in the periphery.
- Supporting Educational Systems — We donated office equipment to the “Sadot” School — a new institution for children from Kibbutz Kfar Aza and Ruhama — aiming to support a rehabilitative and stable educational environment for students who have experienced trauma.
- Bridging Gaps and Promoting Equal Opportunities — In collaboration with Petah Tikva Municipality, we distributed new school bags to students from underprivileged families — another step in the ongoing fight for equal access to education.
- Fighting Food Insecurity — As part of the national effort to reduce food waste and support vulnerable populations, group employees volunteer in sorting and collecting food in cooperation with “Leket Israel.”
- Connecting Academia and Industry — Our engineers gave practical lectures to students at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University, aiming to bridge theory and practice and guide the next generation of Israeli engineers.
Comtal will continue to act with a commitment to sustainability, business ethics, and long-term development — towards its customers, employees, and the community and environment in which it operates.
